We Found the Best
Mature Skincare on the Continent.
From hyaluronic serums to retinol I’ll actually use — sixteen picks that held up across studio shoots, red-eyes and a Nairobi summer.

I think about skin the way I think about a good shoot — light first, story second, never overproduced. After ten years on set with brands like Dove and La Roche-Posay, I’ve narrowed my own rotation to a short list of things that earn their place on the shelf.

Two layers in the morning, sealed with a sunscreen — never a heavy moisturiser. This is what I bring on every shoot.

I rotate this with a gentler oil three nights a week. Best price-to-result ratio on this list.

If I could only own three skincare products, this is one of them. Buy the tub. Don’t argue.
Good skin reads like a magazine cover — lit well, edited tightly, never overworked.

When I want my skin to do the work for the makeup — this is the morning serum. Not cheap. Worth it once a season.

A finishing cream for when there’s a camera involved. Slow, sensual, beautiful on the bone.
Eleven more picks plus a short FAQ on what to skip — keep reading.
